These
pieces are completely hand made and hand decorated. They are
porcelaneous stoneware, with a smooth satin glaze, very durable and lead
free. Each piece is an original and unique
composition carried out in painted stains and then defined with
scraffito (scratched) drawing.
This newly introduced design is inspired by the fanciful crewel
embroidery which enjoyed its heyday in 17th century England
when English textiles were influenced by fabrics imported from India by
the East India Company. These pots are an updated interpretation of this
cultural fusion which produced designs celebrating fertility and
imagination. For ordering information, Contact
